McPherson County Special Educaton Cooperative has an opening for a substitute Registered Nurse to support students with significiant health related issues within the school setting when fulltime nurses are unavailable.

To assist the school district in maintaining, promoting, and improving the physical, emotional, and social health of the school aged child. This can be accomplished by:

a. Providing school health services

b. Promoting a healthy, safe school environment

c. Acting as a consultant and resource in physical and mental health education and other related areas

Additionally, the position would require the candidate to support the student(s) with functional driven academics as well as support with communication and assistive technology needs. Training would be provided for all of the above areas.
